Who offers mobile boat detailing on the Delmarva Peninsula?

Dynamite Details, a certified Revivify installer based in Middletown, Delaware, offers 100% mobile boat detailing across the Delmarva Peninsula, working on boats, yachts, and jet skis at any location or marina. Packages run from Boat Wash & Wax for boats in new or like-new condition, through Polish & Wax, the Renewal Plan for light to medium oxidation, and Complete Restoration for medium to heavy oxidation. Oxidation removal is priced on site by severity, with a free estimate and a test spot on request. Wash management plans cost $89 per foot annually for weekly service, $59 per foot for bi-weekly, and $39 per foot for monthly, and each includes a fresh water wash, salt spray rinse, and spot drying. For long-term protection, the Revivify Marine self-healing protective coating is built for salt, fresh, and brackish water and is quoted after a free estimate. Weighing it against wax? Science

Why does Delmarva water damage boats?

The Delmarva Peninsula spans 170 miles across parts of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. The waters range from freshwater streams and groundwater to tidal brackish waters and saline coastal waters — all heavily influenced by agriculture and low-elevation topography. Our guide to protecting a boat in salt, brackish, and fresh water covers each one in depth.

Fresh

Freshwater Challenges

Affected by nitrate and pesticides from agriculture. Groundwater is often acidic. Mineral deposits build up fast and eat through wax and sealant.

Just like CarFax for automobiles, BoatFax (Boat History Report) provides history reporting for marine vehicles. Consider documenting your marine maintenance for resale value. We can help with that.

Process

How does mobile boat detailing work?

  1. Free estimate

Contact us for a free estimate. For boats that have lost their shine, oxidation is estimated on site, with a test spot available on request.

  2. We come to you

Marine work is 100% mobile. We travel to your vessel at any location or marina across the Delmarva Peninsula.

  3. Wash first, then correct

Every oxidation removal package starts with a Wash & Wax. Renewal and restoration work then compounds and polishes the gel coat, with 1000 & 2000 grit wet sanding only if needed.

  4. Protect and maintain

Finish with marine sealant or a Revivify Marine coating, then keep it clean with a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly wash plan.

Common questions

Do you detail boats on site?
Yes. Marine work is 100 percent mobile across the Delmarva Peninsula, so the vessel is detailed where it sits.
What do you detail besides boats?
Yachts and jet skis, alongside boats. We also provide exterior service for aircraft and apply Revivify Aviation Coating, covered on our Aeronautics page.
Does salt water require different detailing than fresh water?
Yes, and it is the reason standard detailing fails on the water. Fresh water carries nitrates, pesticides, and acidic groundwater that build mineral deposits fast. Brackish water in the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays mixes salt and fresh and accelerates corrosion. Atlantic salt water penetrates every gap and seam, where one missed spot becomes a corrosion point.
Can a ceramic coating be applied to a boat?
Ceramic coatings can go on boats, but that is not what we install. We install Revivify Marine, a self-healing protective coating, not a ceramic. It bonds at the molecular level, self-heals micro-damage before corrosion starts, and is built for salt, fresh, and brackish water. Coating work needs an estimate first.
